About Me

I'm Cynthia Polen, an artist based in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. Creativity has always been part of who I am, but like many people, life, family, and career responsibilities have often come first. 

Today, I am pursuing a lifelong dream of building an art business that celebrates beauty, storytelling, and human connection through original artwork.

I am currently continuing my artistic education through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program while developing my own body of work in oils, acrylics, mixed media and drawing.  

My subjects range from portraits and wildlife to coastal scenes, landscapes and imaginative pieces inspired by memory and emotion. Each painting is an opportunity to grow as an artist while creating something meaningful for collectors and clients. 

I also offer custom commissions and paint part experiences for individuals, groups and special events.

I believe art should do more than fill a space. My goal is to create artwork that evokes emotion, preserves memories, sparks conversation, and brings joy into the lives of others. Whether I'm painting a beloved portrait of someone's family member, a coastal wildlife scene, or an imaginative mixed media piece, I strive to create work that leaves a lasting impression.  Thanks for visiting my website.
