About Me

I'm Cynthia Polen, an artist based in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. Creativity has always been part of who I am, but like many people, life, family, and career responsibilities have often come first. Today, I am pursuing a lifelong dream of building an art business that offers custom commissions and celebrates beauty, storytelling, and human connection through original artwork.

I am currently advancing my artistic education through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program while developing my own original artwork in oils, acrylics, mixed media, and drawing. My subjects range from portraits and wildlife to coastal scenes, landscapes, and imaginative pieces inspired by memory and emotion. Each painting serves as an opportunity to grow as an artist, creating something meaningful for collectors and clients in my art business. Additionally, I offer custom commissions and paint party experiences for individuals, groups, and special events.

I believe that art should do more than simply fill a space.
